Description: Whiskey was adopted on August 6, 2008 to a woman in Alvarado, Texas. We tried repeatedly to contact her in 2011 and 2012 to set up a follow-up visit but she refused to return calls or letters. In March 2013 we were able to get in touch with her. She told us she had given Whiskey (who she called Shadow) to a barn in Alvarado, Texas (in violation of her adoption contract). The barn told us that they had sold him to a woman in Denton. The farm in Denton had no record of this horse, but they buy/sell a lot of horses and may have forgotten/overlooked him.
