Description: own a house and 40 acres in Canton, NC. Due to divorce I work in Florida and return to my property monthly while my ex husband, who lives in Canton, maintains my two geldings on the property in my absence. In May of 2008 I sold 10 acres to suspect (contact owner for name). The suspect immediately began contacting me and telling me I needed to move my horses from MY property because they could not "fend" for themselves.
By August, she had (allegedly) foundered my Thoroughbred after I had repeatedly asked her not to feed him and that he could founder. [A vet was called out and] Finally, at some point around May or June (my ex is not sure) she (allegedly) removed my two geldings from my property under the guise of neglected/abandoned horses.
