Species: Horse Breed: Thoroughbred Description: I was contacted the first week of September regarding a horse that had been abandoned on state land. We searched for the owners but could not locate them. We retrieved the horse who has numerous injuries to his leg, back and left eye. He has been to the vet and will require chiropractic care and possible surgery but is expected to make a full recovery. He is gentle and kind, but we do not know his name or where he came from. We believe this horse may have been stolen. He was definitely well taken care of and shown love at some point in his life.
