Name: Amira aka Honey Gender: mare Species: Horse Breed: Arabian-CROSS Description: Two mares were given to a lady believed to be involved in 4-H and community. Amira was a challenge to catch, and her health prevented me from giving her what she needed. I learned one of the mares was sick, drove 6 hours to see her, and was told she had died of West Nile Virus. Amira seemed fine, healthy, and in a suitable environment, so I had no cause for alarm. I was informed a while later that Amira had been placed in another home. The children rode her, loved her, and she was doing well. They had renamed her Honey and were told that my existence and concern for Amira was made clear. But I was not given information on Amira's whereabouts. Finally, after a couple of months was given a phone number. Calling the number, I was reassured she was doing well, and I said I would contact her again to check on her. I sent a text around May 2016, and she was gone. The only details they would give was that "someone took all the horses south"??? I want to know that she is in a good home, and if not, I am prepared to take her back. Area Last Seen: Ladysmith, WI, 53566 Date Last Known: 3/1/2016 Contact IMPORTED FROM OLD WEBSITE
