Name: TRONA BEE Gender: Mare Species: Horse Breed: American Quarter Horse Description: Trona Bee was stolen from Erik Goodwin in Bradley County TN July 2020. Erik called the local police in Bradley County and filed a police report as well as contacted AQHA and flagged her papers. We scoured social media for months trying to find any leads on her as well a horse sales, auctions, etc. Almost 2 years later AQHA contacted Erik stating a man from Ohio had tried to send in transfer of ownership paperwork to get her registered in his name. AQHA provided us with his name and address and told us to contact him. We were informed that it was a civil matter at this point. We then hired an Attorney for legal representation. The man that has her told us he purchased her Athens Livestock in Ohio, and that they purchased several horses that day. We were scheduled for Civil Court. Two days before Court, we were told that he got rid of the horse in February 2023, clearly after he sent verification of her in his possession by providing AQHA with current pictures of Trona Bee.
