Description: Truck, trailer & horse stolen while I was in the store. Kat's Trophy was snatched, along with her owner's horse trailer and pickup, about 1:15 p.m. Friday in the parking lot of Tractor Supply Company at 23741 U.S. 59 in Porter, according to the Precinct 4 Montgomery County Constable's Office. The horse's owner said she had gone into the store for about 40 minutes and when she came outside her truck, trailer and horse were gone. Deputies said the store's surveillance camera recorded images of a green car driving around the area about the time the theft occurred. The car stopped by the victim's pickup and a passenger got out. The man climbed into the cab of the victim's truck, deputies said, and drove away, taking the trailer with Kat's Trophy inside.

The horse's owner said she had gone into the store for about 40 minutes and when she came outside her truck, trailer and horse were gone. Deputies said the store's surveillance camera recorded images of a green car driving around the area about the time the theft occurred. The car stopped by the victim's pickup and a passenger got out. The man climbed into the cab of the victim's truck, deputies said, and drove away, taking the trailer with Kat's Trophy inside. On Tuesday, police found the horse tied to a tree near Homestead Road in northeast Houston. The mare had no water or food. She was thin, had halter burns and was missing a shoe, but otherwise appeared to be in good condition. Deputies said the property owner where the horse was found was not connected to the theft. Kat's Trophy and her owner were reunited and the mare feasted on peppermints, her favorite treat. Now, officials are searching for the thieves as well as the victim's pickup and horse trailer. The truck is a 2006 white Ford F250 Super Duty 4X4 Super Cab with Texas license plate BP75282. The trailer is a white 2010 S&H with Texas license plate DYZH70.
