UPDATE!!!! We wanted everyone to know that ROCKY HAS BEEN FOUND! He has been found stuck in the mud by his owner, Jennifer, and the fire department has been called to aid his recovery. Fingers crossed and prayers for Rocky to be safe. He's been missing for two weeks. Public Page Link FROM the owner: Thank god for PG&E! The guy came out to look at the power lines. He had to walk way back into some gnarly brush. He came back to the house and told me a horse was stuck in a hole! I couldn’t get there fast enough! Within 20 min the fire department came out and so did SPCA. Rocky had been in a mud hole that thankfully had enough water for him to drink that kept him alive for 2 weeks! He was stuck in the mud and under a downed tree. They had to cut the tree up to get him out. I was shocked that he could stand! But on shaky legs, Rocky fought his way out! I am just so thankful!! Thank you all so much for sharing his story and for keeping him in your prayers! I know he was in mine! Now for the next 48 hours I will be watching him like a hawk and slowly introducing food. Right now is all about hydration and small amounts of food. God is good!! Update 2: He is standing and wants food! Update 3: Rocky is out!! Thank god for the North County Fire Department for their heroic actions!! And thank god for the SPCA that came to help! Vet is here now! (3h ago)
