Name: Peppamint Twist Gender: Mare Species: Horse Breed: Pinto large pony Description: I was hoping you might be able to help me spread the word in our farm's area (West of New Waverly, TX) that I have a pony missing after these flooding weeks. Our property backs up to Huntsville State Park and Texas Grand ranch is not far off of its western point. I guess my pony got separated from her herd (of 3) by Sandy Creek when it breached its banks. She may have gone looking for a place to cross and found some downed fence on the other side. All of our crossings are washed out and we can't get over there. She has been missing since Monday, May 24th, at least that's when she didn't come up with her 2 buddies. Here are some pictures. Her name is Peppamint Twist, and she is registered under my name with the Pinto Horse Association of America. she is 16 years old, chestnut and white tovero, 13.1 hands tall (more or less), shy and aloof, and does not trust strangers. Walker County Sheriff, Constable and Texas Parks have this information as well, as I have notified them of her disappearance.
