Name: Copper Gender: gelding Species: Horse Breed: old style Morgan, no papers. Description: Seeking whereabouts of "Copper", our old horse. He was a grade Quarter pony, built like an old-style Morgan. Copper was much loved, a terrific little trail horse (about 14h). Around 2005, Copper went to a young lady whose family managed the Epworth Methodist Retreat Center in High Falls, NY 12404 (Ulster County). About 10 years later, the center was permanently closed, and we attempted for Copper to return to our family, but the disbursal administrator had already placed him with a (nameless) family in the area (according to his info). Not positive that is accurate. He was not technically "Stolen", but our gentleman's agreement with the family was ignored. I've been searching for Copper since. It would be so nice to know where he went, or currently is; and if he is desiring a retirement home, he is welcome to return to our farm (now in Cambridge, NY 12816) to live out life with his old horse pals. We still miss him. Copper would be in his upper twenties, possibly older. He was a bright chestnut, flaxen mane & tail, short stockings on both rear legs and white pasterns on both front. White star.
