Description: Found wandering in the El Dorado National Forest on Caldor road near Leoni Meadows. (southeast of Placerville and northeast of Jackson, CA) No halter or tack on. Full set of shoes. Very friendly. Not a senior horse. He is uninjured and in very good condition. We are withholding a picture or full description pending contact from potential owner for positive ID. Animal control is involved. We have searched the area for horse campers and put signs up at feed stores and in the forest near where he was found.
