Description: Box Elder County Sheriff is investigating what is believed to be a theft of the horse pictured here. The horse was last seen mid morning in the Promontory area between the Gold Spike Monument and the Spiral Jetty. A white Ford pickup truck pulling an aluminum stock trailer was also reported in the area Saturday. The horse has two brands; one on each hip. The Utah brand, rafter over JB connected is on the left hip; image of brand in photos. The open A bar open A brand on the right hip was from a previous owner; see picture of Department of Ag Missing Report in photos. The left hip brand is a freeze brand and will show white on the horse. He is a Dun colored 13 year old gelding. Very gentle.
