Gender: gelding Species: Horse Breed: Unknown Description: On December 24, 2019, at approximately 7:30 p.m. our office received a report of an abandoned horse just west of Crystal Springs in Jefferson County. The horse was tied to a tree with a Christmas bow on its halter. There was no note giving any information about the horse. Family and friends of the homeowner have been contacted.
We are asking for the publics' help in locating the owners of this horse, as we would like to speak to them.
The horse is a sorrel gelding. He seems to be tame and seems to have been fed well. There are no brands or distinct markings. His left hoof has a deep crack.
