Name: Stormy Gender: Mare Species: Horse Breed: Rocky Mountain Description: I posted an ad on www.thehorse.com to rehome Stormy, my 9-year-old Rocky Mountain Quarter Horse Cross, and two goats (Jasper and Barnabas). Fallon responded to the ad on Wednesday, August 2, 2017. We agreed that she would pick Stormy up on Sunday, August 6, 2017. She arrived around 1:00 PM on August 2, 2017, with her truck and livestock trailer to pick up Stormy. The goats were having a fit because they were separated from her. I asked her if she wanted to take the goats, so they could still be her companions. These animals had been together for approximately two years. She agreed and loaded them up on the trailer. She claimed to be a Veterinary School student looking for a retirement horse as a companion for her barrel horse. The verbal agreement was that my family and I would take them back if she could not care for them anymore or if it was a bad match with her horse. After a few text messages, she dropped off the radar. I asked for pictures of the animals in their new home but was always told she was busy and would do it later. My husband messaged her on Facebook on August 19, 2017, responding: "They are all doing well. Sorry, I have meant to take some pictures and just haven't yet. Hope all is going well!"
