ARRESTED: Billy Hamilton, Alleged Horse Killer

A tip was phoned into law enforcement regarding Hamiltons whereabouts after the tipster saw reports regarding Billy Hamilton on Rate My Horse Pro's website.

Accordfing to Rate My Horse Pro Florida authorities have nabbed alleged horse killer William "Billy" Hamilton.

The details are limited, but investigators say Hamilton, who was going by the alias, "Will Robert Webb" was living in an Avon Park apartment with a woman. A tip led to his arrest on an open warrant this afternoon.

Hamilton is named in court documents as the killer of the roping horse, Credit Card, after five student rodeo horses were allegedly stolen in Arkansas and transported to Oklahoma in November 2011. According to public records, defendant Jaci Rae Jackson "watched as Credit Card was shot in the head and had its throat slit by a William "Billy" Hamilton."
