UPDATE: MISSING EQUINE Major`s Pride,

Image

Major was sold to a horse dealer around August 1982. I believe he lived in Alexander City. At 12 years old, I called and spoke to him and even went to his house looking for my horse. Out of the hundreds of horses he has bought and sold this is the only one he "doesn't remember". Considering Major's size and coloring, I never believed it. I am afraid he went to slaughter, but still hope he found a good home to live out his life.

The dealer is the one who told me to whom he sold the App Mare, Chas McDilly, and we visited him. So she was found and in a good home. Again, since the dealer gave me this info, what reason would he have not to tell me what happened to Major other than he was sent to auction or slaughter?
