Owner had been searching for horses since they'd been discovered missing. Pasture had power company access and owner is not allowed to lock gates. Some people came on property riding ATVs and left gate open so horses got out. Horses are now safe at home!
In Georgia, the law states estrays are to be sold in THREE days if owner not located. This land owner, who was on vacation at the time (the caretaker did not know they were missing) was very fortunate that his horses were not sold at public auction before he could reclaim them!
