JULY 30, 2010: Reata is safe now. I guess I can't really say that she is home because I guess now we are homeless. I have moved all of my horses to a friends ranch.
No worries, we will find a safe place for them...we were going to move anyway. So, we will think smarter next time regarding the placement of our horses location. =)
God was so good to my family tonight. Always trust in the Lord!
Reata had her mane over her withers roached, saddle burn marks where the girth was, cuts all around her face and under her chin. She had not been broke to ride and there was evidence and visual conformation that she had been ridden. She seemed a bit traumatized but I know she will be just fine over time.
Thank you all so much!
