Subject: Re: Netposse Stolen Horse Report Form
Thanks for all the help. She had been noticed missing since 6AM from the Florida Horse Park, I was at the Ocala I Horse Trials. We had finished our dressage with a 33.5 and were in 5th place. The groom from the barn I was there with noticed her missing in the morning and notified the show officials. I arrived to the FHP around 8am and was informed of her disappearance. The show secretary contacted the Marion Country Sheriff's Dept. & they immediately began a search for her which involved a helicopter which flew over the area for about an hour and a group of people on horses to look for her throughout the trails. She has never been known to get out of her stall before, and even if she did I find it a little weird of her to wander over 2 miles away from 150 other horses. I have no proof of anyone taking her or opening her door, but I have my suspicions. After awhile I filed a stolen horse report with the Marion County Police Dept. & also listed her on netposse.com. Around 5pm a man came to the FHP and notified the Officials that he had found a horse on the road & put her in his cow pasture. He said he had found her at 8am, which I also find a little weird that he did nothing about it until 5pm, considering he lives right next to a huge horse park, but I was just thankful to have her back.
If you need any more information let me know & thanks again for all your help!!
Liz

So was this theft or was it someone
wanting to temporarily get rid of the competition?
