Recovered EQUINE Bieber`s Speaker,

My girlfriend, was showing her reining horse at a local horse show.  She looked over and saw my horse, Murphy.  She couldn't believe it!

She called me immediately, we called the Sheriff's department and were able to get him back. The guy who stole Murphy didn't enter him in the show, only brought him, no one had any record of him being there.  That's why it is so important for people to look at horse shows for their stolen horses, you never know where you will find them!

CONGRATULATIONS TO BARBARA FOR NOT GIVING UP!
And thank God for luck!

Stolen Horse is Home! -- 4/23/2007 1:14:59 A.M. Eastern Daylight Time

Hi All,

Thanks to the efforts of our dear BRAVE friend, we were able to locate our stolen horse, Murphy at the the Del Mar Horse Show today, Sunday.

It was dangerous, the guy had bragged about having a gun in his truck (the truck that had the horse trailer hooked behind it that had transported my horse to the show).  The Sheriff's department helped us and I was able to get my horse back by issuing a "Citizen's Arrest" for the man that stole him.  It was an exhausting, exciting, day.

The interesting thing is that when the Sheriff asked him to show ownership for Murphy ( I had the registration paperwork with me, showing ownership in my name with a recent photograph of him), the guy actually showed the officers registration paperwork of a sorrel four year old quarter horse MARE (Murphy is a Paint gelding).  However, the Sheriff's department was not familiar with the registration paperwork for horses and almost accepted the documentation - but there was a woman officer from the Agriculture department (working at the fair in their security division) who looked at the paperwork and told the officers that the paperwork could not possibly be Murphy, due to the fact that he was a different color, sex, age and breed! !!!!!   Quick thinking on her part!

I then was able to verify my ownership and of course, the photograph cinched it.

The guy that took Murphy is in jail for now, but I don't know for how long.  I'll keep you posted.....

And thank you , everyone of you for all of your help and support these past few months.

Barbara
