The lead Angela received on this horse was correct! Chestnut gelding switched for Fire was bought that night by a man named Rich. Read her account below:

Well I got her today ... she is fine... I am so excited ... THANK YOU SO MUCH ... You can put her as found and safe and sound. Here are a few I snapped of her just as I got home. ~ Angela (scroll down to see pics of Fire at HOME!)

... I told the auction to confront him and if he got her back to me I would not press charges. I am sure he could be convicted but I know we scared him and it is such a burden of proof. Him and his girlfriend both say someone else must have put the tag on her, and said the auction owner walked out to the trailer with them ... ~ Angela

... Well, my friend went to the auction today where Fire was stolen from and the guy we thought took her was there. HE ADMITTED TO TAKING HER … Said it was a mistake and gave my friend his phone number and he wants me to call him in the morning ... he says he sold her and has the contact info for the people that bought her and says he can and will get her back.
