Update 10/29/05

We have found Ace. He had gotten in between some large hay bales and one rolled back and trapped him. He was in there for two days, and we had the vet come out last night on an emergency call because he is down. We don't know if he will make it, but we are giving it everything we can to make sure he does.

My daughter Amy had taken our dog out looking for Ace, and thought the top of the hay bales might give her a better view. She said they were jumping from hay bale to hay bale and he lifted his head and nickered at her.

The neighbors, friends and family came to help get him out, but he has struggled to the point of total exhaustion. He had to have three bags of saline solution through an IV, a shot of Banamine and a shot of Steroids. Now all we can do is hope. We went ahead and had blood drawn to make sure he does not have an infection any where.

Hopefully our little Ace will be ok. (his registered name is Gamblers Lucky Ace) If he makes it through this recovery, we may change his name to Lucky. Please tell everyone THANK YOU for their help on this. We have been absolutely frantic over him being gone. I am so glad he was not stolen and thankful for friends, neighbors and family who understand how desperate we were to find him.

Again, Thank you.

Kathy, Bob, Amy, Joseph, Sherilyn and James Kimzey and Ace too!!!!
