Swamp Fox, has been found!

NOTE FROM CINDY MARTIN - 3/1/2010 12:39:02 P.M - Rocky has him on the trailer headed home. Saddle (totally ruined) and breast collar still on him --- everything else gone, BUT WHO CARES? Swamp Fox has a couple of sores that will have to be treated, but otherwise seems OK. I’m heading home now to move horses so he can have a pasture all to himself.THANKS TO EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU. We are so blessed to have you in our lives.

Rocky Nettles, said that the horse was found in the woods by hunters. Nettles said he tracked the horse to Curtail Road in the Sumter National Forest south of Abbeville. At the gravel road, the tracks disappeared, he said. It was because of this that the family thought Swamp Fox may have been stolen.

Swamp Fox was in good condition and the only injury to the horse was caused by the saddle rubbing on him.

Swamp Fox was raised by the Nettles family from a foal and was like a member of the family
