Sadly Blest Western Found Deceased 11-26-06

Found - Deceased These are the kind that cause us great grief. Laurie emailed and said that Blest Western had been found dead. She had wandered away and gotten caught in a fence. PLEASE CHECK YOUR PASTURES REGULARLY! There is hardly any hurt for a horse owner worse than something like this. Laurie appreciates everyone's help and support! (11/26/06)

November 26, 2006 - Dear Debi and Angela....Thank you so much but there is nothing really that you can do. I appreciate your thoughtfulness so much. I have been crying over her since I found out the news. A neighbor found her when he was out checking his cows since we had warned all the neighbors to be on the lookout for her. She was such a sweet mare and was so gentle but got caught in a barbed wire fence and couldn't get out. I just wish I had been there to help her when she needed it but I guess you can't watch over them 24/7. I am so sad over Blessie, I'm crying again while typing this message. She will be dearly missed. Again, you both have been so helpful, kind and just awesome to work with. Keep up the great work you are doing. I know horse owners appreciate your help so much,Thanks again and again,
