Thank you so much for your rapid reply. The good news is that the horse has been recovered - injured, but "fixable"! He was apparently removed from our farm by "someone", taken through two closed, but not locked gates, 1/4 mile down a dry creek bed, across a 160 acre neighbor's property, down a dirt section road to a state highway where he apparently got away from the thief. He was found Sunday morning by a deer hunter, about 5 miles from our home, having gotten tangled in that man's barbed wire fence. We found out about his whereabouts through a community "word of mouth web" of someone telling someone, etc until we were located. I am eternally grateful to everyone who offered help, advice and moral support.
I hope I never need your services again, but it's nice to know there are such systems in place. Thank you again.
