Primary Objective of Position: Stolen Horse International wants to add a content-driven, skilled writer and creator to the brand’s volunteer staff. With the changing social media platforms continued shift toward the digital realm, the ideal candidate will have a solid foundation of traditional journalistic and literary skills and a deep understanding of the missing horse industry while at the same time possessing a passion for innovation and a firm grasp of the fast-paced demands of the digital space. The person in this position will develop and execute a weekly digital newsletter and NetPosse Alerts as needed via the newsletter. A successful applicant will have a background in the horse industry with a passion for horses, helping readers have a more knowledgeable, safer experience through their horse life.
This part-time volunteer position is remote. There is no pay other than knowing that you have helped someone bring a horse home or prevented one from disappearing.
Professional Responsibilities: The NetPosse News content creator will write stories for Stolen Horse International, many of which will be stories from victims. The content creator will also respond to customer service emails and assist in finding support volunteers for the NetPosse News. The content creator will be expected to build and maintain strong relationships throughout the industry.

Working Conditions: The Assistant Content Creator must be comfortable working on a computer, with night- and weekend work periodically requested.
