In 2011 Magnolia's Painted Lady and Smokey, both SC horses went missing from their owner. Smokey was found soon after at a horse auction. Painted Lady was not.
Her owner listed the horse on Stolen Horse International's website, www.netposse.com. NetPosse Alerts were sent to thousands through social media, mailing lists and other network connections.
She waited days, months, and then years. She never gave up hoping that one day she'd find out what happened to her gorgeous horse. Still, there was no sight of Painted Lady.
Fast forward 10 years when an unsuspecting horse owner was browsing the internet for information about the horse she'd bought just months before. She stumbled upon Painted Lady's NetPosse.com report on her webpage. What happened next? Watch the video and find out.
