Joliet (Carbon County), MT, 59041, USA
Lilly went missing from her summer pasture. She was with 5 other horses but she is the only one missing. We've checked all surrounding properties and every square inch of the pasture. There is no evidence she was attacked by wild animals or is dead. We can only assume someone walked in and took her. She was the easiest of the bunch to catch, always comes to humans, and is easily haltered. She had been in the pasture for a little over a month and was with her siblings/relatives so the chances of her running off are slim to none. She disappeared sometime between the 6th and 12th of October 2017. The herd was together on the 6th, we checked again on the 12th and she was gone. This is a very rural pasture but does border a county road for access.
