MISSING EQUINE Bronx, RESOLVED Near White Plains, MD, 20695

NetPosse Report ID # : 1912 (4355)

Description : Bronx, a sorrel QH, was taken under false pretenses. Boarding Barn owner bullied me into allowing Bronx go to Wounded Warriors, (He wanted me off the property and used my horse to do it). I called back within 15 minutes and barn owner stated Bronx was already gone. He promised to bring him back the next day. He apparently never even tried to bring Bronx back, even after promising he would immediately and continuing to tell me he would for weeks and months. I looked for Bronx myself and when I discovered that Wounded Warriors would not take an injured lame horse, Barn Owner changed his story to AmVets. Not there either. Finally, months later he said he gave (sold?) Bronx to his farrier to take Bronx to a "horse rescue" in Culpeper, VA. I visited the "rescue" farm in Culpeper, VA, but it was abandoned. I found the rescue owner and "Rescue" man claimed to have sold Bronx to a very private "CIA" like couple in VA. Someone else stated they saw Bronx on the new farm belonging to the "rescue" in Bealeton, VA. Since, I have also heard that the "rescue" owner may have sold Bronx back to the farrier who may have transported Bronx to Ocala Florida or near there. There is a screen capture of the ad for $4,500 for Bronx on his Facebook page "Bring Bronx Home". Please call with or for any information. (202) 277-9141.
Area Last Seen : White Plains, MD, 20695
