3 Including Jaci Rae Jackson Plead Guilty in SAU Horse Theft

JaciRaeJackson.jpgThree remaining defendants pleaded guilty Thursday for their roles in the theft of five horses and equipment from the Southern Arkansas University rodeo team.

Former SAU student and rodeo team member, Jaci Rae Jackson, pleaded guilty to six counts of conspiracy to commit theft of property. She could face up to 40 years in jail. Jackson's sentencing has not been scheduled.

She was originally charged with with six counts of felony theft of property.

Last week Jackson testified in the trial of her mother, Wendie Cox. She was found guilty and was sentenced to 60 years behind bars. She will be extradited to Oklahoma to face another trial involving the SAU theft and the killing of Credit Card.

Co-defendant William "Billy" Hamilton also appeared in the Columbia County Circuit Court to enter his plea of guilty to four counts of theft of property over $5,000 and two counts of theft of property over $25,000. He was sentenced to 30 years.
