scotttilmanstolensaddleTX.jpgWEATHERFORD, TX June 18, 2012 — A teen’s horse was found Thursday night wandering the parking lot of the Sheriff’s Posse grounds, but the prized saddle that had been on the horse was missing. Parker County Sheriff’s deputies are asking for the public’s help to find it — and if someone provides information that leads to the saddle, they could get up to $1,000 in reward money.

The saddle that had been taken was won by Tidwell in 2011 for Rookie of the Year. Tidwell, who is on the Azle High School Rodeo Team, is a header on the roping team. The saddle has some value in that it can be traded in or sold.
