LOST/MISSING EQUINES, – BOHDI & FINN – MARYLAND

Mt. Airy (Howard County), MD, Saturday July 22, 2017

Bohdi & Finn escaped from their paddock and broke through the fencing sometime between midnight and 7am on July 22, 2017 according to their owner Christian Tillett. Bohdi was halter less but the colt, Finn, had on a halter.

Mr. Tillett asked Stolen Horse International for assistance in locating their horse. Mr. Tillett has notified the Howard County Police Department, animal control for Howard County, Montgomery County and Carroll County MD.

Stolen Horse International, a nonprofit organization also known as NetPosse.com, is well known as the “lost and found’ place for horses on the internet for the equine industry. NetPosse.com offers horse theft and equine ID education and assist in search and recovery of stolen or missing horses, as well as other equine equipment.

“Bohdi was my Valentine’s Day present from my wife. We found out a month later she was in foal.”, says Christian Tillett, “Bohdi means the world to us…her baby, Finn, was born shortly after my own.” Mr. Tillett went on to tell Stolen Horse International, that Bohdi was rescued from a kill pen, her beautiful kind eyes were remarkable even in that horrible depressing environment. When she arrived in Maryland she was emaciated, dreadlocked and had an infection in her mouth. Bohdi was so trusting and sweet and desperate for their attention. Finn is the sweetest thing ever and was just starting to become friendly towards people. Finn is a mischievous little guy. Both Bohdi and Finn have taught The Tilletts how to be better horse owners. They have contacted Howard County Police Department and animal control for Howard County, Montgomery County and Carroll County MD.

On July 22, 2017, Stolen Horse International, Inc. received the first online report on its web site, www.NetPosse.com, filed by Tillett and, in short order, began distributing the information via their NetPosse Alert (the horse community’s Amber Alert) on the Internet to hundreds of social media groups and private email contacts in an effort to rally the public to help the family.

You will find Bohdi and Finn’s webpage with information and a printable flyer in their NetPosse.com listing, which is where any updates or leads will be posted. Anyone interested in helping can search for report number NR005284 or use this direct link on the NetPosse.com site: http://www.netposse.com/view_report.asp?reportid=5284

“Circulating the flyer for Bohdi and Finn as well as the NetPosse.com Alert nationwide is imperative, as they could be anywhere by now. These flyers are one tool that brings home many horses and must be posted in as many public places as possible,” says Debi Metcalfe, founder of Stolen Horse International. “And remember, not everyone has internet access. Please post Bohdi and Finn’s flyer in public places as well.”

Pictures, flyer, contact information, updates and other information are on the NetPosse webpage to identify this case quickly when calling in a tip. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Christian Tillett, Howard County Sheriff Department, animal control for Howard County, Montgomery County and Carroll County MD or Stolen Horse International with any information.
