According to UPI.com's story posted November 2, 2016,

KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C., Nov. 2 (UPI) -- A South Carolina horse stolen after being moved to a temporary shelter for Hurricane Matthew was found.

Kershaw County Sheriff's Office shared a poster seeking information about the missing horse, named Halle, who was stolen between 8:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 31.

"Halle has been a beloved part of our family for nine years," owner Christine Lauay told WYFF. "We had evacuated Halle to a farm in Lugoff when Hurricane Matthew was headed for Charleston. She was staying at her temporary home while we finished repairing the damage from the storm so that we could bring her home."
