MT. AIRY, Md. —
NJ.com reported that one young horse has been recovered, and another located, but the search is still on for two other horses that escaped from their pasture on June 29.

According to a press release from Stolen Horse International and subsequent updates:

Valerie Vollmers' beloved horse, Pie was found in Pennsylvania and has been returned home. Another horse, Georgia has been located but not yet returned to her owners.

April is still missing. See http://www.netposse.com/view_report.asp?reportid=4981 for more information.

Also still not located is Buckskin. See http://www.netposse.com/view_report.asp?reportid=4983

The four horses were reportedly taken from a property where they were placed by a neighbor when he found them loose. The Montgomery County Sheriff Department is currently actively investigating the case as a theft.

Pie was found a week after she went missing. How she ended up in Pennsylvania is still under investigation.

Searches were conducted by volunteers on foot and in the air via a drone.
