Idaho, the horse who's theft in 1997 inspired Stolen Horse International, will be 31 in March 2016. Dianoised with cancer three years ago, she is still here.  Each day with Idaho is a gift for the Metcalfe family. They know she is living on borrowed time. This picture was taken today when our founder went out to brush Idaho. 

"She loves to be brushed. Even though I have a hard time carrying a tune, I sing Maybe , (from the movie Anne) to her.  Twenty-eight years is a long time to hear the same song. She doesn't seem to mind and always seems more at peace when I sing. Or maybe it is just me at peace. Either way, I will miss these moments one day," says Debi Metcalfe
