Description: Nya was adopted from us on Sept. 12, 2009. Our adoption contract states our horses are not to be sold, given away, etc. She was still at her adopter's location on 2/27/2010 when a routine follow-up was conducted. The adopter was scheduled for another follow up on 11/07/2010 and refused to respond to our requests for an inspection. Finally, after two certified letters were sent he responded in 2017 and stated he had given he horse back to the rescue. This was not true as we had never received the horse back, but he would not tell us where she had gone.
