Rue was supposed to be in Texas for weaning and then training with a friend of my mother's. On a visit down to the friend's barn, I was concerned for the care of Rue as I noticed no signs of fresh hay and several horses were skinny. The "friend" supposedly moved him to his trail riding business in Red River, NM in June 2013 and has eluded contact since then. I was out of state at college when Rue was sent off and my mother didn't think to draw up any paperwork because she was dealing with a friend.
