Description : In 2005, Peanut (Baybreeze Vanity) was boarded under an oral agreement in Windsor, Va. In 2006 I moved to Florida and he was supposed to come with me a short time after. When my employer in FL decided against me bringing my horse, and we parted ways, I fell behind on board costs. I let the board facility know I was going to run behind but would settle at a later date. I did NOT receive any boarding bills, and subsequently no notice of my horse being sold. At the end of 2010 I returned to Virginia and I was able to recontact the boarding facility. I was informed my horse had been given away to be sold for past board fees. After a long time searching I found out where he had gone to. I contacted this person, who would not co-operate in allowing me to see that my horse was okay. Then she told me she had sold/given him away. I have an idea what town he is in - Suffolk, Virginia - and I am almost sure of the name of the person who has him, however no one will communicate with me. At this time, I just want to see him, to be sure he is okay and healthy and to make sure he never goes to auction or slaughter.
