Gender: Mare Species: Horse Breed: TWH Description: Does anyone recognize this mare? Is anyone looking for her? Alex Daniels, says, "Looking for a possible owner of a stray Tennessee Walker Mare. Black with a wispy white star, short stripe, snippet, 3 white socks, and 1 white stocking. By her teeth, I would say she is about 9 years old. She was picked up in Harnett County, in the woods, a couple of blocks from HWY 421, and was reported to have been out next to the HWY at one point. She is now safe at Pasture Pals Equine Rescue, in a quarantine stall with hay, water, mineral block, and just a little bit of feed. She appears to be pretty healthy and is not as thin as we expected. She is showing some lameness in her back left and right front. She has tics, bird lice, and more than likely worms. Walking on the rocky creek, she has self-trimmed her hooves, so they need doing but are not terrible." Original NetPosse Alert Facebook Post:
