Cody and Rain Recovered
stolen Valentines Day 2003
Limestone - Sheryle Hart
COLOR: DAPPLE GRAY
AGE: 8 YEARS
HEIGHT: 16 HANDS
Cody was located that night in a sale in NC thanks to the
eyes of someone at the sale. One person can make a
difference!
I
just got thru talking to Sheryle and she asked me to email this.
She was going to call you at NetPosse. She got a call on Saturday
from someone who saw the 2 horses go thru a sale in North Carolina
Friday night. She was able to talk to the sale barn owner and
found out who had bought them - they had both actually changed
hands twice that night - and contact those people who released the
horses to her without any problem. They were both horse traders in
North Carolina. She picked up the mare on Monday and the
gelding today. All of Sheryle and Jim's calls to people paid
off. Fortunately - because Cody was going to be sent to
Maryland soon. Now there needs to be pressure for the police to
arrest the thief.
Beth Hicks
Sheryle has her horses home and would like for me to extend a
heartfelt thank you on her behalf! You will be hearing from
her soon. Thanks to all the people who helped in any way.
A special thanks goes to Jeff Arrowood at Foothills Livestock for
all his help with the recovery of Cody and Rain. They were at
his sale Friday night in Boiling Springs, NC. The horses
were sold to new owners in Fletcher and King, NC. Both of
those owners have been helpful in their return.
Hopefully the thieves will be found soon...it is know who sold the
horses at Foothills Livestock, so hopefully it is a matter of time
until they are located and an arrest is made.
I personally want to extend a thank you to all people who
passed this info on to another or who helped in any way. We
at Stolen Horse International are so thankful that we have been
involved in another success story. You should feel proud
too!
