other notes:: I sold Josie in November 2002, due to financial difficulties. I thought she was in the perfect home. I had "first right of refusal" written in her bill of sale AND I thought she was protected.
In May or June 2004, she was "given" to the owner of a
stable in Daly City, CA. Unfortunately, the owner of this rental stable
is the father of the owner of the Turlock Auction. He recycles horses thru his rental stable on a regular basis.
She was there for only a short period of time. The owner quickly discovered that she was too high-strung for trail work.
The Owners of Turlock Auction and Mar Vista Stables are not cooperative. -- they said that they could not find any records on her.
Any information that would lead to finding Josie would be greatly appreciated. Any information about Turlock Auction or Mar Vista Stables would be appreciated also.
I am the previous owner. I was not
notified or given "first right of refusal" by the person
I sold the horse to and want to ensure she is in a safe and caring
environment.
