RECOVERED Aug. 22, 2007!! Emily - 11 yr old Percheron Mare stolen with fraudulent money orders - Putnam County, Florida - 8/18/07
Who can trust even money and mone orders these days. I have talked with a victim that was paid counterfiet money for a horse. Now here is a case where the money order was fake. What is next?
Emily was dumped a short distance from a Dept. of Agriculture Inspection facility once her owner put the pressure on the buyer! An arrest has been made!

how missing: Lady paid for horse with fraudulent money orders, 4 money orders for $850 totaling $3400, didn't find out until monday morning that they were fake. Bank even thought they were real. She picked up the horse from our home on 8/18/07 saturday in a white chevy pickup late 90's model, a brunnerup trailer with slight mold on it. The truck was a short bed, 2 door but king cab with light tint and florida tags

other info: The horse had a current coggins, a current health paper dated on 8/18/07, she was supposed to be going to Valdosta GA, we were also given a Live Oak FL address to pick up the mare today on 8/21/07 but it was a bogus address. The lady has been staying in touch via e-mail only but has not contacted us after we found out the Live Oak address was fake.
