Attempted horse theft in Montgomery County, Texas

crimetapeSmnetposselogo.jpgNov 28, 2012 - Deputies in Texas are investigating an attempted horse theft in Montgomery County.

Officers from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office were called to a home in the West Montgomery County area near FM 1774 and Goodson Loop on November 19.

Sheriff Tommy Gage said the thieves were not successful in removing the horse, but during the incident the animal ran through a fence and sustained several cuts.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to a $1000 reward for information leading to an arrest or indictment of a felony crime.
