Owners are asking for the public’s help finding an already lame horse that may have further injured itself while escaping Monday in Coleman.

Biscuit —also known as Whiskey Bis-Key— is a 17-year-old brown Tennesee Walker Gelding and was last seen at the cross roads of Magrudder and McNally headed west, according to a media release from Netposse Alert, a website dedicated to bringing missing or stolen horses to their owners.

The horse broke out of his stall in Coleman at around 10 p.m. Monday, and may have injured himself in the process.

“Horse was lame in the front prior to his escape. He may have been injured further in his escape,” according to the release.

Biscuit is described as a calm horse standing 15 hands tall with flaxen legs and an indentation at the base of his neck from an old injury.

A $75 reward is being offered by Sandra Ward who is biscuit’s owner, according to the release.

Anyone with information should call Ward at 989-600-5067.
