A landowner is desperate to find the youngest member of his farm family, his Tennessee Walking Horse's baby. The filly, named Skittles, is only six weeks old.
"Six weeks old is way too young to be separated from your mom as a horse. They need to be about four months old before they're weened," said owner Charles Humphreys.
The youngest member of this herd of horses is missing. When Charles Humphreys returned from a trip Tuesday of last week, he immediately noticed something wasn't right.
"I noticed the mama by herself and that should have never happened."
Meet Mayheim, the colt's mom. Humphreys says she's stressed without her baby and literally lost.
"The mom is blind, so she keeps up with where she is more by feel and sound than anything else," said Humphreys."
