Horse stolen from Lugoff farm reunited with its owner

KERSHAW COUNTY, SC (WACH) - A horse that was stolen from a Lugoff farm has been found and returned to its owner.

Halle, a 14-year-old black spotted mare, was found on Victoria Road in Lugoff around 10pm Tuesday.

A resident heard a vehicle speeding off from the area and when the resident went outside to look around they found the horse and contacted the Kershaw County Sheriff's Office who in returned reunited Halle with its owner.

Halle was reported stolen Monday afternoon. No arrests have been made at this time.

The horse was staying at the Lugoff farm after being evacuated from Charleston for Hurricane Matthew.
