STOLEN EQUINE, – Henry – GEORGIA

McDonough (HENRY County), GA Sunday September 25, 2016

Stolen Horse International aka NetPosse.com received a call from Samantha McGinnis early on Sunday September 25, 2016 in the morning. Someone had spotted Henry, one of the two stolen horses, in Hartwell, GA. Samantha traveled 2 hours from her home to go and pick up Henry to return him back to their home.

On Wednesday, September 21, 2016, Rachel Moore and Samantha McGinnis’ horses, Henry and Buddy were stolen from their property sometime in the early morning hours. On Thursday September 22, 2016, Buddy was located in Oconee County, SC and was reunited with Rachel and Samantha a few hours later. Buddy is safe and doing well.

Ms. Moore asked Stolen Horse International for assistance in locating their horses. Rachel Moore had filed a stolen equine report with Henry County Police Department. Stephens County Sheriff Department also assisted in the search for Buddy.

Stolen Horse International, a nonprofit organization also known as NetPosse.com, is well known as the “lost and found’ place for horses on the internet for the equine industry. NetPosse.com offers horse theft and equine ID education and assist in search and recovery of stolen or missing horses, as well as other equine equipment.

“I got him, he’s here!”, says Samantha McGinnis on the phone call to our Report Manager, Pamela Miller. “I got him, I got him!” Ms. McGinnis went on to tell Stolen Horse International, that Henry was located in Hartwell, GA in a pasture. Rachel Moore, Samantha’s Mother, commented to NetPosse that Henry is her daughter’s heart and soul.

On September 21, 2016, Stolen Horse International, Inc. received the first online report on its web site, www.NetPosse.com, filed by Moore and, in short order, began distributing the information via their NetPosse Alert (the horse community’s Amber Alert) on the Internet to hundreds of social media groups and private email contacts in an effort to rally the public to help the family.

You will find Buddy & Henry’s webpage with information and a printable flyer in his NetPosse.com listing, which is where all the updates are posted.
