10 August 2014
Today, August 10, 2014, Stolen Horse International received the call we've been waiting for in the case of Babe, stolen 73 days ago from a pasture in Alton, Oregon.
She has lost a great deal of weight but otherwise seems to be okay.
Sharon Enarson told Stolen Horse International founder, Debi Metcalfe, "We got a call from the Sheriff's office tell us that they had gotten an anonymous tip stating where Babe was located!"
The anonymous tipster told police," Your horse is at the back of this fellows pasture. Some people that have been out riding have saw her. They didn’t want their name given. “
After finding the location of the pasture Sharon and her husband Richard found Babe and brought her home.
That is the short story. Now we will have to see if law enforcement does anything to follow up and try to find the person(s) who took Babe back in May.
We’d like to thank everyone who helped share Babe’s NetPosse Alert with their friends or who helped in any way. We would like to thank Burt, our very special private detective and the PI he recommended to the Enarson family for the work they did on this case.
We never ever give up until they are home!
Never underestimate the power of one!
Help us continue the work we do to bring horses like Babe home! Make a donation today!
