A Penguin, Australia family were left devastated after a valuable horse was taken from their paddock.
Michael and Tammy O'Brien said their nine-year-old chestnut warmblood mare, Java, was safe and sound when fed and checked about 5.30pm on Tuesday, June 234, 2012.
According to Ms. O'Brian, "They have had to open a lot of gates to get to her. As she is a broodmare, she is very quiet and fairly easy to handle, but I believe being taken away from her mates she would have been distressed and gotten upset."
Police received information on June 28th which led to the location of the chestnut coloured broodmare stolen from the O'Brien's paddock overnight. Police would like to thank the public for their assistance in the location of the horse. Enquiries are continuing in relation to the matter.
