A year and a half of struggle has finally been righted this Easter Weekend and we owe a lot to NetPosse for keeping our missing horses in the spotlight.

Many of you may be aware that we ended up scammed by a career con artist and their associates. This has led to multiple fraud issues, sadly the death and disappearance of many horses, and the final crowning moment when the horses received justice and felony charges were filed in the state of Oklahoma: 1 Count Embezzlement, 5 named horses, and 1 count covering 45 unnamed horses. Trial is pending and we look forward to that resolution.

However, despite a court order for bond that directed horses to be returned to owners and ordered the defendant to possess no domestic livestock, our horses were secreted away.

Several anonymous individuals located our horses from the NetPosse notices. Confirmation was provided by three different law enforcement agencies. On Friday, two reviews of documentation, by a total of four law enforcement officers, if not more, and the county prosecutor, resulted in the return of our horses.

They have been in the care of one facing criminal neglect charges. They are currently in a state of malnourishment. We know the paint was reduced to a body score 1 on two separate occasions in two separate states, the second occasion occurring after the department of Agricultural ordered horses to be fed and he was brought back up to a body score 5, only to starve again. Blood panels indicate no systemic issues, no medications, and no underlying health issues other than lack of feed - despite the alleged abuser's claims otherwise.

The horses' spirits are broken. Their bodies have suffered. I have been defamed for nearly two years straight. But this is the beginning of the justice we have fought so long and hard for.
