Oklahoma Horse Owners Take Heed - There is growing concern regarding stolen andmissing horses in the state of Oklahoma, specifically Oklahoma County. Stolen Horse International, aka NetPosse, has processed several reports that seem to be more than coincidence. While NetPosse only receives a fraction of the estimated thousands of thefts each year, trends can be seen in data collected, and the amount of thefts in Oklahoma is alarming.

Tack Theft Article: Tack Theft Tips for Thought and I'M Not Special - Saddles and other tack account for a huge portion of equine crime, and tack theft has been a recurring problem in the United States and Canada. People living in rural communities continue to be singled out because of the large amounts of horse tack in their barns and trailers. Significant quantities of tack are stolen from horse trailers at home, shows or at other horse events.

hlodge@reportert.com  Jack and Alisa Neal are searching for their horse, “Dilly” Weed’s Dialette, after she was stolen from their pasture. Dilly, a chestnut Appaloosa mare, went missing from the pasture, which is surrounded by an electric fence, after a neighbor saw two men and two women load her into a white trailer near the Neals’ home at the intersection of Ind. 37 and Turkey Track Road.
